THE ASSEMBLY OF THE ACTS

Are you sick and tired of the materialism,
worldliness, man-worship, and lack of spiritual substance in the Church today?

...We are, and Jesus is, too!

But we are not so much bothered for Two Reasons...

The Prophecy

The Bible prophesied much of these as signs of the last days. Jesus said iniquity will be common in the church and the love of many shall wax cold. Paul in 1Tim 4:1 says, "...some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils". He warned that Satan himself will transform as angel of light and will sit in the church and be worshipped as God unbeknownst to many. His ministers also will be called "men of God." Their message and way of life will be characterized by materialism, worldliness, greed. They will mislead many to embrace the benefits of the kingdom without its righteousness (Mat 6:33; Phil 3:10).

The Ownership

Another reason we are not so much bothered about the state of the church today is when we sincerely answer the church ownership question. It should not be difficult to see the apparent difference between the church owned by gifted men on the pulpit and the church owned by Jesus. One is founded, headed, managed, and controlled by a person, family, or a handful of stake holders, However, the church owned by Jesus is founded, headed, and built by Jesus and led by the Holy Spirit who is present in the gathering and glorifies Jesus (Jn 16:13-4).

What we are bothered about...

Genuine Victims

The first category of people we are bothered about are born-again believers who had a true and genuine encounter with the Lord but end up getting stranded and becoming victims in man-led organized churches. They are tied down by positions, make-believe service, and other socio-religious activities in the church in the name of working for God. Many end up losing their "first love," spiritual identity in Christ and flame for the Lord. They can no longer discern between the mere simulation of the presence of the holy spirit by paid instrumentalists during church service to the true presence of the Holy Spirit.

Church Distance

The second category of people we are bothered about are born-again believers who are truly sick and tired of the materialism, worldliness, man-worshipping, and lack of spiritual substance in the church today. But rather than look for the real and genuine fellowship, they are discouraged, disappointed, and distance themselves from any gathering. Some have so much disconnected themselves that they are no longer under any communion and spiritual covering only found in when saints gather together to express Christ as local church.

If you fall into either of this category... And

  • You are sick and tired of the materialism, worldliness, man-worshipping, and lack of spiritual substance in the church today.

  • You feel discouraged and disappointed about the organized church and have distanced or self-disconnected yourself from the church system.

  • You are looking for something real, radical, and of the spirit and in truth;

  • You are thirsty for a genuine faith-walk with God and communal relationship with the brethren

  • You are longing for a place where everyone is recognized, honored, and free to share and receive under the lordship of the Lord Jesus only...

Our Keywords

EKKLESIA: We believe that the gathering of believers should be under the Lordship of Jesus Christ only who is the head of His Ekklesia and from whom we are all fitly framed together to form a glorious body, purified by his blood, sanctified for his use, and prepared for his appearing.

KOINONIA: We believe that True Koinonia is when believers yearning for deeper connection with God and more of Jesus meet to worship in communion without titles, denominational mentality, or doctrinal barriers.

NEW TESTAMENT: We believe meetings and services should be a New Testament experience where everyone participates and is free to share and receive under the lordship of the Lord Jesus only without the the clergy laity style as it is in many organized church today.

ELDERSHIP: We believe that the leadership structure of the true assembly of Jesus should be plurality of eldership as it was in the early church, and not one-man clergy-style, as it is prevalent in organized church today, and those called into the ministry should be recognized through multitude of witnesses of the presbytery as elders and function according to their calling without the encumbrance of titles.
